Photo Gallery: Guadalupe Island

At tree #15, professional climber Carl Jackovich selected mature cones and dropped them to the ground. Then he and Nicole Nedeff carefully gathered each cone and put them in a labeled cotton bag. Bags were labeled with the identity of the tree from which the cones were taken.
