Photo Gallery: Cedros Island

There is a small fishing village on the northeast coast of Cedros Island, and the full expedition team landed here on the third and last day on the island (May 21, 2001). Arriving early in the morning, the team aroused the curiosity of the village dog, ‘Gallo’. The dog accompanied team members during the rest of the day as they collected cones near the northernmost distribution of pines on the island.
