Photo Gallery: Cedros Island

Celerino Montes, in addition to contributing towards the success of the expedition, was gathering his own observations for use in his role in environmental protection with the Mexican government (Valle de los Cirios, Área de Protección de Flora y Fauna). The white plant behind him is native brittlebush, Encelia farinosa.
