Photo Gallery: Cedros Island

In some respects, the pines here differ from those on Guadalupe Island. Here they are more numerous, occurring in small stands. Most of the pines were smaller and certainly younger, several stands appearing to have regenerated after a recent (within the last decade or so) fire. In some cases, it was difficult to find trees that were bearing cones.
